What customer says?

Our website was old and needed updating. We were getting business from it as we had PPC advertising running on it but when we looked at the potential of more business if we updated the website it was a no-brainer! They also reviewed our PPC campaign and helped us realise the potential should we have them set it up better. We were wasting a lot of our advertising budget it seems on searches that just weren’t relevant because the set up wasn’t thorough enough to make it really relevant.

I’m very pleased with the work they did and continue to do for us, they really know what they are doing!

Case study

logoHenry Gates Security is a family run business with a well-established client base and great reputation in their field. Their website did not reflect this adequately and needed updating. They also had a PPC campaign set up and running that needed attention as it was not getting the best out of their advertising budget.

We were able to provide them with analysis to show how their campaigns could be improved, giving a tighter rein on the budget, reducing wasted spend, and providing a higher quality visitor, more likely to convert. In a 12 month period they saw great improvements in their website performance:

  • Increase in new business enquiries by over 400%.
  • Conversion rate has increased from 20% to 30%.

We love the stats!

  • Organic website traffic increased from 80 enquiries per month to 185 enquiries per month
    = increase of 231%
  • Number of enquiries from the old website
=  21 over 6 months and after new website went live
= 96 website forms which equates to an increase of 457% increase of website enquiries.
  • Conversion rate has increased from 20% to 30% with new website.
  • 61% of all new enquiries are coming Google adwords.
  • 39% of all new enquiries are coming the organic search engine listing.

How did we achieve the above results:

  1. Refined existing PPC advertising.
  2. Design and build new website.
  3. Search engine optimised website during build process.
  4. Blogging with in-house copywriters
  5. Ongoing SEO.
  6. Remarketing campaign to convert as many site visitors as possible.

What customer says?

We have been working with Click Return for a number of years now and they initially came to help us with our PPC advertising. We already had it set up, but we didn’t think it was working as well as it should, so we asked them to go through it and see how it could be improved. When Brad went through it, we realised that we were actually wasting around 40% of our budget – something we obviously wanted fixing straight away! Brad rectified this and then installed tracking onto our website so we were able to see where our conversions were happening. This was helpful because we could now see where our visitors were coming from and which key words worked/didn’t work for us.

Case study

logoFollowing on from this, we realised our site could be performing much better so we asked Click Return. Search Engine Optimisation was the answer and they began to optimise our pages to improve our site numbers and ultimately generate more organic traffic. The new site went live in April 2015 and we have seen a fantastic increase in business.

Brad recently came to our factory and spent time filming me at various stages of our production process so that the videos could be uploaded throughout the next six months ago which means that there will be new content on the site regularly without us having to worry about it – we can just get on with what we do best.

From day one, we have had a first-rate working relationship with the team at Click Return and feel our requests are always handled promptly and efficiently, whether that be creating a Christmas message for our site, removing information that is out of date or answering all of our queries regarding our PPC. We would highly recommend Click Return to any company wanting to increase their online presence and get more customers!

Straight cut gearbox

excerptstart Straight cut gearbox assembly

Any straight cut or helical competition gear set needs to be assembled by a
trained mechanic and adhere to the following.
Never fit lock tabs to the mainshaft and 1st motion shaft. Clean the
threads on both, plus the internal nut threads with Loctite 7063 cleaner or
brake fluid if not available (not petrol or degreaser).
Apply Loctite 2701 to both the nuts and shaft threads to ensure complete
coverage and tighten up to 120lbs only.
When it comes to dismantling the gearbox heat nuts that have Loctite on jto
200 centigrade and they will come off easily (this is not red hot).
After securing the nuts any excess Loctite should be wiped clean.
Baulk ring to dog gear face must be checked for new condition 0.050²
maximum is fine with the 7 degree cone angle for the Mini application.
Bearing in mind this will reduce during the early bedding in stage at the
rate of every .001 wear on the baulk ring bore diameter, will reduce the
wear allowance (baulk ring gap) by .00814². Additionally the hoop stresses
generated in the Baulk ring during synchronization causes the baulk ring to
increase in diameter further reducing the wear gap. The minimum gap new
should never be anything less than .35² minimum on baulk rings available at
this time. Check the gearbox in all gears
to make sure they do not lock up‹before fitting.
Ensure the main shaft bearing retaining plate has .001²-002² preload, this
will ensure that the third motion shaft is not thrusting left and right when
under load due to helical or semi helical crown wheel and pinions.. Once the
gearbox is assembled and the main shaft pinion and first motion nuts are
tight, hold the 1st/2nd synchro hub whilst in neutral and rotate the 1st
motion shaft gear-there should be none or very little drag on the baulk
rings if everything is assembled correctly. If there is excessive drag on
the baulk rings it will reduce their life and lead to clicking whilst
changing gear or a tight /stiff gear change.
Ensure the 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th selector forks are a snug fit on the selector
hubs with very little play between the two parts..
Also check the laygear has the correct end float:excerptend

A Driving Ambition

What customer says?

I just wanted to thank you for the excellent service and immediate results I’ve received from the PPC work you’ve done for me this past week.
In looking at and planning my diary I could see some gaps were due to appear in May.  After asking you to arrange some PPC for me in just one day I received  6 enquires and converted 3 of them to new business. With an almost full diary this was enough to top up my diary for the next few months.
I’d also like to thank you for refreshing the look of my website which I’m sure has help to drive calls.

Case study

We have helped maximise the return on investment for ADA school of motoring.
Now we run advertising for them, once a student has passed & they have a gap in their diary.
This then delivers new students for a short burst of PPC advertising costs.
After a short time and a small advertising spend they fill their instructors diary again.
We then switch off the advertising until they need to attract new students.

Window-Wise Trade

What customer says?

We came to Click Return with a website that was unfinished and not attracting any customers and frankly didn’t represent us as a company at all. After commissioning a website with Click Return and setting a really tight deadline as we were appearing at the Ideal Home Exhibition we were thrilled with the results, plus we got the website on time! We are now getting regular enquiries at least 4 per week, whereas on our previous website we would only get one every few months. These conversions have a higher conversion rate. Our customers know more about what they are buying so they ask for the right things. This makes quoting them much quicker.

Case study

windowise-logoThis window and door manufacturing company required a complete rebuild of their website. It was not set up to be able to convert visitors to customers. In fact with no SEO and no advertising on any level, a PPC campaign was suggested to get the ball rolling for them with Analytics installed to provide us with a steady stream of information about their customers and how and what they wanted to buy.

Over a 6 month period they have had many more business enquiries, they have found it easier and quicker to quote their new customers and there has been a higher conversion rate as a result because their visitors are already convinced about the quality of their products.

We love the stats!

  • Organic website traffic increased from 41 customers per month to 300 per month
    = increase of 731%
  • Number of enquiries from the website before we redeveloped the website
     = 6 over 6 month period.
After the website went live along with an active PPC advertising campaign
= 56 website forms of which 49 were email & phone enquiries and a total of 105 enquiries.
    = increase of 1750%
  • 51% of all new enquiries are coming from Google adwords.
  • 49% of all new enquiries are coming from the organic search engine listing.

How did we achieve the above results?

  1. Design and build new website.
  2. Search engine optimised website during build process.
  3. Started Pay Per Click Advertising on the highest profit keywords.
  4. Reviewed enquiries received and improved enquiry form with bespoke guides on how to order your windows and doors.

Mini Spares

We have been working with the team at Click Return for over 20 years now and they work on a number of areas of our business – they manage our PPC advertising, email marketing and also our competitions.

2016 saw the launch of our latest catalogue, our previous one having been published in 2012. Brad was hugely involved in the production of it, from setting it, running the online competition to find a photograph for the front cover to producing a digital version of it. He also had a large input into the production of our AKM – our workshop manual.

Most recently, Click Return helped us sell tickets to the London to Brighton Mini Run which is taking place in May. The 2150 tickets available sold out in just four hours and being able to sell them on our own website and distribute them from here was perfect as we were also able to send out a copy of our catalogue with the tickets.

We are always able to contact them with any queries and questions and receive a prompt service. Brad works from our office once a week and fits in well with the team. It is great having him on hand as he now knows how we work as a team, making suggestions about how we can improve our catalogue, visitor numbers etc.

I’m very pleased with the work they did and continue to do for us, they really know what they are doing!

Case study

logoHenry Gates were used to us delivering business for them, and it was vital that the new website continued to do so. We did not fail on this, and the statistics speak for themselves: organic traffic rose by a staggering 101% in the first 12 months the site went live, showing the impact a well optimised site can have. The bounce rate was also reduced by 46.5%. As mentioned, one of the reasons for the new site was to make it more mobile-friendly, and, again in the 12 months since it went live, mobile traffic grew by 83% and the mobile bounce rate reduced by 21.2%.

Not only did we create a site that did exactly what they needed it to, we also began providing monthly blog posts to ensure that there was always new content added to the site. This has helped increase the organic traffic to their site.

More recently, we have organised remarketing for Henry Gates Security Systems – this is where customers who don’t convert when they visit the website the first time are “followed” by Henry Gates Security Services ads which will appear on other websites a customer goes to. This is financially beneficial as the cost of a conversion in remarketing can be as low as 30% of the original cost.

Companies should never underestimate the value of a good review. We set up a testimonials page for the site so that Henry Gates’ customers could let others know of the good service they have received. The testimonials build trust with future customers and could be the extra push one needs to use your services.
